Nestled in the North Carolina mountains is a little town called Boone., known for it's small town feel, good food and beer, hiking and camping and outdoor fun, and Appalachian State University. Nova and Michael Nelson have been long-time residents of Boone, NC and restaurateurs in their own right. They opened Angelica's in 1998, (read their story here) and after a few name and menu revisions, settled on Hob Knob Farm Cafe. After several years as Hob Knob Farm Cafe, realizing they just didn't LOVE the name, they called me up. We had a few phone calls and then made a plan. We began the creative journey of re-branding their restaurant with a new name, a new look and a style that could grow with them for years to come.
After a thorough design process and much dreaming and creative work, Wild Craft Eatery came to be born. (Illustration of the "utensils" by Anis Crofts! Thank you, Anis for your beautiful and immaculate contribution!)
Head over to Boone, NC and visit the Nelsons at Wild Craft Eatery! They are the loveliest of people and after you see their menu and try their delicious, fresh food, you'll keep coming back for more. And tell them I sent you!
AND, If you're ready for a new look or know someone who is, get in touch and spread the word. It's a beautiful thing!
DESIGNS: I created a new logo, business cards (double-sided, square, rounded-corners), postcards, t-shirts and a website they can update themselves.
